A made-to-order product may be subject to a customization exception in some jurisdictions, but that exception cannot be applied automatically across countries or used to remove rights for defects or misdescription.

Where local law permits, a hygiene exception may depend on an intact seal and clear pre-contract disclosure. The exact seal, inspection process and jurisdictional wording must be approved before launch.
